If your EPT is an Ingenico IWL 250 model:

Do not place the terminal near heat sources and leave enough space in relation to other electrical devices to avoid malfunctions.

This product is suitable for indoor use only.

Do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

In the open air, cover it to protect it against any water infiltration.

Do not allow water to seep inside the case.

2. Power supply (common to all EPTs)

The terminals do not have electrical ON/OFF switches. Therefore, shutdown is only possible by disconnecting the power supply. The terminal socket must therefore be near an easily accessible location.

In the event of danger or anomaly, disconnect the mains plug.

Only a power supply approved by Ingenico (with CE marking) should be used with this terminal.

The power supply provides the appropriate power for the terminal. The user must ensure that additional devices powered by the main device do not overload the power supply.

Only use a power source that meets the recommendations on the power supply.

Damaged components of the power supply (cables, plugs, etc.) cannot be replaced by the user.

3. Cleaning (common to all EPTs)

Unplug your device before cleaning it

Only use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean it.

Do not use aggressive detergents or solvents containing isopropyl alcohol.

The card reader unit should be cleaned with suitable cleaning cards as needed.
